From here, depart towards San Quirico d’Orcia along the SP 14 and arrive to admire the cypresses of San Quirico d’Orcia, one of the most iconic postcards of the Val d’Orcia, and then continue and if you want to visit San Quirico d’Orcia, exquisite medieval village where time seems to have stopped. The terrain alternates ups and downs but once you arrive along the SR 2 in Bagno Vignoni you will be able to stop in this beautiful spa for a while! You can visit the iconic village with its famous rectangular thermal bath, or simply rest among the gorelli (streams of hot thermal water) that flow naturally between the rocks. Then saddle the last one, and you will finally be in Castiglion d’Orcia!
