Our secret?
Before being master pasta makers and millers, we are farmers, and this is exactly what makes the difference! We take care of the entire production cycle of cereals, from the fields to the table. In fact, we cultivate the ancient grains that are ground in the stone mill right next to our restaurant. La Locanda del Mulino is the very short chain restaurant of the Mulino Val d’Orcia, our farm that extends for more than 100 hectares in the municipality of Pienza. The dishes on our menu are all made with organic flours produced from ancient stone-ground grains of our own. Absolutely to try our pici!
