The small village is all gathered around the “Piazza delle Sorgenti” a magical place, where the fulcrum of this delightful spa site is built around a large rectangular basin. The rectangular basin of sixteenth-century origin collects the hot and steaming water of a thermal spring of volcanic origin. The thermal water is composed of calcium and iron carbonate, sodium chloride, calcium sulphate, magnesium and sodium, has a temperature of 38 ° C and is particularly suitable for the treatment of osteoarticular disorders, arthrheumatic diseases, bronchopulmonary problems.

The thermal waters that collect here in the tub are directed towards a steep escarpment where the Natural Park of the Mills is located. So called because the waters that flow into the town’s swimming pool are now made to flow here in small gorellis (rivers of thermal origin) which then create beautiful waterfalls and basins for collecting the natural thermal waters.
